This IPL combines the traditionally crisp and clean Munich Helles with the innovative and aromatic American IPA to give you a fusion with unyielding flavor. The complex malt backbone lends sweet and bready notes which are balanced predominantly by Hallertau Blanc and Vic Secret hops.

Draught at the brewerey, 12/10/17.
Good clarity to this blonde-brass lager, with a small, white head that sits at cover.
Really strong, hoppy nose shows mango, peach, papaya and light pineapple, with light, honey and cracker-like malts behind it. Seems quite soft and yet lush. Very inviting, with no alcohol or flaw.
In the mouth it's indeed hoppy, and provides moderate bitterness, soft honey and biscuit/cracker and moderate carbonation. Good attenuation and nearly juicy tropical fruit flavors from the hops, though there's a growing bready, twangy, resinous character that builds up considerably and somewhat fatigues the palate, as the glass wears on. No alcohol or flaw, otherwise.

Growler from the source, last rate of 2017 Hazy lemony yellow with a small bubbly white head that persists. Lemony citrus with a hint of crackery bread on the nose. Lemony bready earthy flavor with bits of bready and melanoid maltiness and a hint of weird smokiness that I think comes from the hops. Not a bad drinker but something in there disagrees with me.

Pours hazy gold into a shaker. Soapy white head with little retention recedes to hug rim. Overripe tropical fruit and super elastic bubble plastic aromas. Dry with sweet lemon and overripe mango and papaya upfront turning to dry, sweet banana and hay in the lasting finish. Hmmm

6 oz. draft at the brewery. Slight cloudy pale yellow appearance. Aroma is mild herbal and floral hops, yeast. Honey pils malts with a mild lasting floral bitterness. Yeast is downplayed. Crisp texture. Overall, It tastes more like an IPA rather than a lager. Very tasty to me.
