Draught at the brewery, 9/12/18.
Nearly-clear, brass-golden. White head is initially thick and recedes quickly but remains coating the rim. Almost certainly a function of the glass washing, having nothing to do with the beer, which is why the appearance is so minimally-important.
Not a whole lot going on in the nose. Mineral, wine, limes and tangerines can be found, but you have to work at it and that's not what I want out of this hop, which when done well, is one of the most aromatically rich and pleasing hops there is.
In mouth, it's soft, chewy, dry and malty with tons of cracker throughout. Earthy, fuzzy, lime-tinged hops lead to light nectarine notes. Extremely understated. Growing honey on the end with super low, but engaging carbonation. Not the best expression of the hop, by any means, but competent as a beer.
