Pours murky mango into a tulip. White conglomerate head with medium retention recedes to mottle surface. Mango and pineapple aromas. Sweet, dank weed and earthy mango skin upfront continuing into the lasting overripe tropical fruit skin finish.

Super hazy golden, straw and light copper coloured body with a thick, four to five centimetre tall off-white head that stays afloat nicely above the 80 per cent opaque body - nice! Aroma of oranges, light wheat, a touch of spices, but a good sweet note and also even a nice hit of bitterness is noticeable in the nose at least. Medium-bodied; Rich orangey and also slightly mangoey with a touch of light melons noticeable, but a good sweetness, and of course a good touch of wheat malt that shows some enjoyable richness and the sweetness from the lactose that is very noticeable. Aftertaste is rich, but very fruity with a lot of orange and citrus elements, but also some honey and lightly floral notes near the end, without any real bitterness, but a crisp, slightly acidic finish. Overall, a nice and very true-to-style beer that is a bit richer than I expected, but nice, well-balanced and showing great characteristics - great if you like the style and worth trying to find as a true New England IPA. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 18-December-2021 for US$4,49 sampled at my house here in Washington on 17-February-2022.

Awesome name for a beer, from one of my favorite movies. Pours a darker golden peach color, with mid-sized head. Aroma has some green onion/sharp cheese, along with citrus and tropical fruits. Flavor is citrus and tropical fruit, with a mildly sweet base and just a touch of hop bitterness at the close. Soft mouthfeel.

Draught at the Fox and Hound, 4/20/18.
Heavily hazy, bronze-maize-golden, typical NE IPA appearance. Small, white head fades quickly to a ring.
Smells of succulent, honey-dense malt. Maybe some light bubble gum ester from the yeast, as well. Clean, not all that hoppy and no resin, but yet, little/no juice either. Just kind of a vague wintergreen and marmalade, old school PNW character.
In the mouth it's soft, even sweet, with tons of malt flavor and texture. Almost certainly too much so and with a strange, somewhat unclean, strong yeast character adding dullness and a touch of astringency. Resin eventually builds lightly on the finish. Definitely off a bit, most likely just needing more time in secondary and some cleaning up around the edges.
