500 ml. Bottle. Split four ways. Part of our membership. Aroma is spiced applesauce. They took the time to use high end bourbon barrels and then destroyed the flavor of with a shit ton of cinnamon. A good amount of apple but absolutely no barrel. Can not find any depth of flavor. Disappointed.

500mL bottled 11/16/21, bottle 128/600, thanks TJ! Drunk 5/28/22. Murky, ugly, cloudy. No head. Caramel-amber. Big apple-cinnamon. Kinda obscures these badass bourbons. Smells great though, not too sweet and not artificial. No booze. Sweet and heavily cinnamoned...I might have just taken the cinnamon challenge without knowing it. Sweet, syrupy. Love the apple. Man, two incredible bourbon barrels and it's just absolutely dominated by the cinnamon. No barrel comes through. A shame they put this much cinnamon in.

Bottle pour shared by Chalumeaux--thanks, TJ! It's a murky dark brown (dark cider) with light viscosity, no head and no lacing. Aroma is strong tart apple and cinnamon (apple pie with green apple) with hint of bourbon. Taste mirrors aroma with strong tart apple and cinnamon with fairly mild bourbon. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, thin texture, alcohol is totally hidden, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, yummy apple and cinnamon but, and this is rare for any bourbon barrel beer (especially for Barreled Souls), the bourbon is almost absent and not as advertised.

11/16/21 128/600 split 4 ways aroma is apples, cinnamon, caramel. Taste is cinnamon and more cinnamon and caramel apple. Light barrel notes. ABV is hidden but would like more barrel notes. Sad to ruin a beer with so much cinnamon.
