Draught @ [ DØE - Ølfestival 2018 ] @ Lokomotivværkstedet, Otto Busses Vej 5A, 2450 Copenhagen SV, Denmark. [ As Skands Lagerthas Bryg ].Clear dark brown red colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, sweet malt, oat, light chocolate. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, sweet roasted, chocolate, fruit - berry - oat. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20180601] 6-3-6-3-11

Bottle 50 cl. Pours black with a small, beige head. You smell the gale straight away although it kinda comes out as if something is wrong with the beer - has this cough syrup note. Medium body only, lightly sweet roast but the spices dominate and come out in a not so pleasant way. Gale in a Stout sounds good in theory, not so much in practice. 140218
