On tap at Cosmic Comic Cafe, pours a pretty clear copper golden with a small white head. Aroma is west coast-style, with bitter piney hops, crisp biscuity malt and light metallic character. Flavour is along the same lines, with bitter piney hops, some soap, and crisp biscuity malt. Quite bitterness on the finish, with a bit of soap and metallic character. Not bad, but certainly not one of Stone's better IPAs.

Three Johns. Keg. Very hazy orange - amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Lighy dry crisp palate. Thin malts bring not a lot of sweetness. Bitter orange peel. Little floral bitteness and quite a spicy bitter finish. Long bitter linger. A little more juicy citrus as the beer warms up tad but overall file under 'bitter bastard'.
