12 Percent draught, 9/16/22. Heavily hazy, bronze-maize. Small, white head. Rich honeyed malts easily balance the more relaxed hops. Spice, melon and tropical fruit. Not as expressively telltale Nelson or Motueka, but still lovely with plentiful juiciness and tropical flavor. Just very low on the expected white wine and mineral. Clean yeast, no alcohol or resin. Super soft, well-attenuated with almost a green apple and spice character, or perhaps unripe honeydew melon. Some light mineral and moderate bitterness. Lingering cherry, melon and honey with moderate spice. Tastes more like Galaxy to me, but obviously hops are highly variable and unpredictable. Maybe a bit of punchy/twangy, slightly sourish/alcoholic character on the end.

Can (1/11/22) pour. It's an opaque light brown-dark yellow with no sparkle, white floaties, finger-width off-white foamy head with good retention and nice rings of lacing. Aroma is strong lemon and tropical fruit. Taste is strong lemon, pineapple, candied sugar, grape. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with velvety smooth texture, no sign of alcohol, soft carbonation and sweet finish as taste. Overall, strong aroma and flavor. Not super complex but not overly sweet and delicious.

Pour is a super thick looking hazy yellow with a large white head. Aroma is passion fruit and guava hops. Flavor is again lots of passion fruit with white grape. Super thick mouthfeel, you can almost chew this beer. Finish has a touch of alcohol with just a slight bitterness. This was a fun beer to try. Super heavy but with light tropical fruits.
