Canned 8/9/22, drunk 9/14/22. Heavily hazy, tangerine-bronze with a large, off-white head showing strong retention. Smells like lime and lactose with a good bit of base malt sweetness. Cherry vanilla fruitiness with the lactose not as dull/heavy/gross as usual as it is in most sours. Fruity, juicy, tart and not too punchy-acidic, as lime is apt to be. It's a pleasant, simple, rather pop-like sweetness, I guess and the vanilla and lime help balance, but there's that milky sweetness that just seems to intensify the overall sweetness too much. As far as novelty kettle sours go, this is definitely in the upper tier, but I still can't get excited about the milk sugar. Would think this would be far better if the acid/tartness would be balanced by substantial maltiness.

Sample during the It's Beignet while, so Parrish the Thought of Deserting Oil of Us for this Road Trip Tasting on 06/26/2021. Hazy straw color with a thin white head that burns away quickly to a wispy film. Spotty lace. Aroma of lime, vanilla and wheat. Light-bodied with flavors of key lime, vanilla and almond. The finish is moderately tart with a lime aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
