Presenting a gorgeous deep yellow with a hazy glow, Riwaka Dry Hopped Fort Point offers a vibrant bouquet of fresh fruit. Tropical fruit, pithy grapefruit, and orange lead the way, with a subtle dank edge that rounds out the sip with a gentle bitterness. Medium-bodied and refreshingly drinkable, we're pleased to add Riwaka to the Fort Point lineup.

Green onion, pineapple. Not a huge amount of flavour. Hazy orange pour with good head and lacing. Hop tang finish. Tap at Snally.

Pours a lovely opaque light yellow from a tap. Fairly even mix of citrus, peach and mango aroma and flavor here. Very good beer.

Pours hazy pale gold into a tulip. White soapy head with medium retention recedes to mottle surface. Mango and guava skin aromas. Soft with dusty, unwashed tropical fruit skin, splenda and dirty ground mango pith front to back. I don't taste anything remotely like a FPPA here...

Fort Point draught, 8/11/22. Heavily hazy, warm-honey-maize, small, white head, low retention. Rather Citra-forward nose shows straightforward orange juice with a large helping of fruity yeast ester. Sparse but supportive cracker malts in the background with no flaw, resin or alcohol noted. Some tropical fruit and a touch of earthy mineral from the Riwaka, as it warms, but it's not big. Soft, well-attenuated with cracker-heavy malts and sweet peach and melon notes alongside light citrus. It's a bit loose of texture, though, with a lot of wateriness/thinning/blandness on the finish. The hop flavors are rather muddled, with vague citrus and borderline punchy peach-melon. There's a weird sugariness too. I'd be more into this if it were 5% abv, but at 6.6, I expect more flavor and malt depth.
