pours maghoni brown with a light brown small head. aroma is sweet nutty and sweet malty. also cola-nut and faint caramel. well balanced aroma overall, hints or roasted malts too. flavor is bitter plastic, bitter nuts, herbal/metallic bitterness, sweet malts, sweet nuts. I find the bitterness off and sort of making the beer way less enjoyable, it's not any usual hoppy bitterness i know of, not even the one in english bitter, more like burnt plastic.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an almost clear, deep amber with a tiny, off-white head. Nose has subtle roast and a hint of dark, dried fruit. Rich, malty body, really heavy on the licorice notes, again some roast and the Dubbel yeast adds a little more complexity now, but it for sure ain't the world's most sophisticated Dubbel. The roast points way more towards a Brown Ale. 110121
