black waxed bottle. Almost 4 years vintage bottle. Piana kremowa, jasnawa o fiolkowym odcieniu, nie za wielka, ale trwala, oleiste i praktycznie czarne. Chmielna nuta, przyprawowosc, lukrecja, tak lukrecji sporo. Czy ten czxas tak to piwo ulozyl i rozwinal bo jest po tym czasie bardzo dobre.

From bottle. Pours pitch black with a small tan head. Roasted malty. Dark malty. Sweet, deep fruity. Bitter and dark roasted nslty. Bitter and dark malty finish.

330ml bottle. Jet black colour with a late awakening, quickly fading layer of tiny, beige bubbles. Sweet-ish, chocolately dark malty and slightly fruity aroma, notes of dark chocolate, hints of bramble and blueberry, spicy overtones of marmite, speculoos. Taste is yeasty fruity and spicy, chocolately dark malty, notes of dark chocolate, hints of bramble and blueberry, a touch of honey, weak marmite overtones, a minimally dry touch of fruit parings as well. Oily to viscous texture, smooth and soft, slightly sticky palate. I appreciate the brewery, but this one doesn't turn me on thoroughly.

Bardzo ciekawe podejście, RIS Belgijsko-Amerykański, jest złożony (można doszukać się cech charakterystycznych dla belgijskich drożdży - estry, fenole, amerykański chmiel , no i Risowy charakter - z tych team słodyczka, jest też zadziorny przez swoją rozgrzewającą alkoholowość, naprawdę dobre degustacyjno-deserowe piwo.

Bottle 330ml. @ home on the terrace. [ As Olimp Hypnos ].[ Black Wax ]. Clear dark black brown colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, chocolate, dark malt, alcohol, moderate roasted, light vanilla, licorice notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, dark malt, sweet malt, chocolate, roasted, dark fruit - dried fruit, licorice notes. Bottle. Black colour, small beige head with beautiful lacing. Aroma is intensive, with chocolate, red fruits, some pine. Alcohol is present, but does not disturb. Medium sweet. Resembles American Barley Wine. Very good.

Many thanks to Beerhunter111 and Koelschtrinker for sharing. Smooth mild alcoholic body. Intense and thick, sharp with nice Belgium yeast but lots of alcohol. Toffee, coffee, sticky dark malts. Sharp bitter thick ending, a bit unround and very rich.
