Next 0,33 l bottle from Erzengel. Thanks a lot! Dark red brown in the glass, small one finger beige head. Taste starts roasty, some sweetness, getting more dry in the second part. Spicy. Little bit metallic bitterness. Low carbonated. Not bad.

Fles op vakantie gekocht. Het is een helder donkerbruin bier met een medium beige schuimkraag. Het aroma is mout, caramelachtig en fruitig. De smaak is gebrande mout, gedroogd rood fruit en caramel.

Bottle from Erzengel as part of Euro Local swap. Dark chestnut brown color with medium beige head. Aroma of caramel, candies, toffee, dried fruits. Taste, sweet dark malt, caramel, toffee, dried fruits. Low medium bodied. Nothing wrong with this beer. Bit thin for Christmas beer, on the other side, you can freely drink it in March as me.

Post Pigs Ear Party at Chez Smith. Thanks to Dave. Light haze on this amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Light caramel malts, slighty tangy. A little ripe citrus. Dry finish. So so.

F: thin, pale tanned, quick gone. C: dark brown with dark red against the light, clear. A: malty, caramel, bit herbal, bit brown sugar, bit dark fruits. T: malty, caramel, grassy, light sugary, hint of fruits, drinkable and that’s all, as a Christmas beer it is for me quite strange idea, medium body and carbonation, 33cl bottle from Cora Woluwe-Saint-Lambert in Brussels.

Bottle shared in London - big thanks to Dave. Pours clear reddish brown with a small, creamy tan head. Simple bready malts in the snout, brown bread, berries. Light to medium sweet flavour with hints of cardboard, berries, raisins, low bitterness. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish, with more simple brown bread, dried berries and raisins, more nimble bitterness. Fun, if a bit simple.
