Dark black yet bright, rich and round in taste, a smooth mouthfeel with a dry ashy finish. Subtle bitterness with roasty notes, nutty and chocolatey aromas, hints of coffee and burnt sugar.

330ml can bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Rings of lace down the glassware from a slowly diminishing, bubbly, tan head, deep dark brown body, almost black in the glass. Inviting aromas of nicely roasted dark chocolate malts. Fine blended malt-driven taste of dark chocolate, liquorice, and brittle caramel backed by a little bite of dried fruits. Roasted, almost burnt, malty ending. Medium bodied. Well crafted, Yuletide feel. (Tromsø, 23.12.2024).

Can from Systembolaget beställningssortiment. Black with a medium tan head. Dark malt, chocolate, mild coffee, some light dried fruit and licorice. A soft and easy to drink one.

Glatt Sort med boblete, middels fyldig lyst brun topp som daler sakte. Aroma; Kaffe, ristet malt, karamell, søt lakris, rosiner, urter. Smak; mørk sirup, rosiner, ristet malt, karamell, urter, nellik, kaffe. Myk munnfølelse. Fyldig, balansert, smaksrik. Varig, dyp ettersmak. Veldig god juleøl!

Svart med lys brunt skum. Lukter kaffe, melkesjokolade og havre. Middels fylde. Smaker kaffe, havre, noe nøtter og kakao. Middels lang.
