375ml Bottle. Pours a dense black color with a small brown head that soon fades to a fine ring. The aroma is big and bold coffee, dark chocolates and some sweet vanilla. The taste is complex with chocolate liqueur, coffee, vanilla and a bit of whiskey. The palate is full and oily with soft carbonation. Finishes long and semi-sweet. overall: Decent quaff.

12.68 oz waxed bottle. Aroma has notes of leather, vanilla, pouch tobacco, wood, raisin, licorice, dark chocolate, coffee. Taste is highly sweet (even if that’s just perceived sweetness from the vanilla) with strong flavors of vanilla, pouch tobacco, some coffee. A sipper for sure.

375 ml bottle. Pours black with short bubbly tan head. Aromas of chocolate nougat, oaky bourbon, black coffee, a little dark fruit, and slick roasted malts. Flavors of dark caramel, treacle, graham wafers, vanilla, fruity bourbon, syrupy chocolate and oily roasted malts. Sticky and pretty sweet. No real sense of the ABV except some warmth on the finish. Excellent.
