330ml bottle. Dark brown/near black, small beige head, good retention. Aroma of sweet toffee, touch of roast. Taste has treacle, chocolate, slight dry roastiness in the finish. Body is thin as expected but still has enough about it for the flavours to dwell on the palate a while. For a low alcohol beer I like it.

Bottled. Deep brown colour with a thin beige head. Aroma is grainy, some roasted and mild aloe vera like elements. Flavour is chocolate, some slight grains, mild cardboard along with some slight herbal tones. Not all too bad, but suffers of the typical cardboard elements for many low abv beers.

Bottle. It's a clear dark brown beer topped by a small beige head leaving curtains. The aroma makes me think there's little body here, and I'm right. It's rather thin, even for a non-alcoholic beer, a bit heavy on the carbonation, and quite dry. Well, back to the aroma, which is motly roasted malts, with some burnt notes, toast and hints of prune and raisin. The flavor goes down the same road, neither sweet nor bitter, with some dark dried fruits blending in with the roasted malts and burnt, toasted notes. Quite long finish. A bit gentle this one, and at least to thin on the palate, else decent. 190609

Bottle from Marks & Spencer, Manchester. Black-brown with a malty aroma. Taste and texture-wise this is far from a stout, quite watery and malty again when it comes to flavour. There's no depth or body in the brew. There's perhaps the tiniest hint of chocolate roasted malt in its aftertaste.

330 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Alcohol free. Very dark brown colour, nearly black. Moderate beige head. Aroma of wort and over-cooked vegetables, hints of roast malts. Thin mouthfeel. Some slight hints of roast malts and fruit, but stronger notes of wort, over-cooked vegetables and DMS dominate. Not good.
