Blik gedeelt door Roelzie1986. Het is een diep donkerbruin bier met een beige schuim. Het heeft een zoete wat chocolade achtige geur. De smaak is moutig, romig en chocolade achtig.

Can from Beer52. Brown-black with a beige head. Full-bodied, but a rather powdery mouthfeel. Nice coffee aroma. Initial taste was of burnt malt and liquorice, neither of which are flavours I like. Got better with sweet black coffee, chocolate and just a little blackcurrant coming through. It finishes dry and with a touch of the burnt malt bitterness returning. Just a little too burnt for my liking, but otherwise decent.

[33cl can from Beer52.] A glossy black pour with a fast fading beige head; sweet chocolatey aroma; immediately bitter in the mouth with deeply roasted grains; and a tarry charred finish. Quite austere.

(On tap) Black with dense tan head. Excellent aroma - toasty, chocolate, wood smoke. Medium Bodied, smooth, gentle soft carbonation. Great taste, beautifully balanced. There’s plenty of roast and toasty notes. There’s some subtle dark toffee sweetness. The are some woody and smoky notes. Very good

Bottle. Almost black. Malt And roast in the aroma. Cacao. Malty sweet roasty flavor. Milk powder. Slightly watery mouthfeel. Still a tasty beer.
