20/3/2018. Bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours almost black with a small lasting tan coloured head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, roasted malt, lactose and dark fruits. Medium sweetness, moderate roasted bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, average to soft carbonation. Semi-dry, oily, roasted finish with just a little sourness. Like it!

On tap at Craft Room, Opatovina, Zagreb. Summer of 2017. Shared with lovely Anja. Black, small tan head. Red fruits and roasty aromas, lightly nutty. Roasty flavours balanced with chocolate and light toffee notes. Light sweetness. Medium body, soft carbonation, roasty finish. Great!

Uit een flesje. Mooi zwart van kleur, bruin schuim. Goed aroma, in de smaak zowel zoet als wat bittere chocolade. Heerlijk bier en niet te zwaar in abv. Prima voor "guur weer".

33cl bottle: BB 27th Mar 2018. Obtained from Beers of Europe. Poured into a Westmalle chalice at home on 18th Oct 2017. Wispy tanned head turned into a collar very swiftly, then disappeared completely, dark brown body and fairly well carbonated. Smooth malty aroma and taste, some chocolate notes within both the nose and flavour, mild bitterness at the end of each sip, decent brew without setting my senses on fire or wishing to be 'Buried at Sea'.

Sampled from tap at Borefts 2017. Black with a beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty aroma of milk chocolate, coffee and hazelnut. Quite sweet, malty, moderately roasty taste of milk chocolate, coffee, hazelnut and a touch of vanilla, followed by a short, moderately roasty-bitter, slightly earthy finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice!
