Unfiltered, naturally hazy & ridiculously refreshing. German Czech style Pilsner - Tasting of honey, fresh lemon & spice. Rooted in tradition with a big hop blend of Saaz, Mittelfruh & Perle. We keep to a strict 6 week conditioning stage in tank allowing the flavour to mellow and develop.

Bottle at home in London - picked up at the London Brewers Market. Pours crystal clear yellow, effervescent, with a foamy, white head. Crisp biscuits in the nose, light cereal, pale grains, hay, hints of lemon. Light to medium sweet flavour with bready malts, doughy biscuits, white sugar, flourishes of lemon meringue, light husky bitterness, some straw. Light in body with average carbonation. Sweet finish, lacking that crisp bitterness I would want to see, with further bready character, dough, mild hay. Overall, it’s drinkable stuff, but lacks the lip-smacking crispness I would expect of a pils.

Keg at George Croydon. It pours lighty hazy yellow - gold with a thick foamy white head. The aroma is fresh, clean, bread, cereal and toasted grain. The taste is smooth, mellow bitterness, bread action, cereal, cracker, grass and a touch of spice with a a dry finish. A touch of lemon comes through after a bit. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Really refreshing stuff. Good shizzle.

Keg at the Hop Stuff Brewery’s Taproom Beer Festival, Mar 2016. Gold pour with a white head. Vanilla and grapefruit aroma which angles nicely into the flavour with a whisper of bitter citrus in there too. Nice .
