Inspired by 'The Song of Hiawatha' and the namesake of the Sleeping Bear Dunes. Equally complex and refreshing. Notes of Chocolate, light roast coffee and vanilla, with a velvety mouthfeel.

Undated can drunk 12/24/24.
Clear darker auburn. Small, dark beige head, modest retention.
Big, fruity, earthy, plastery yeast with light PNW hopping and only tastefully done medium malts. Just a hint of roast.
Very malty with molasses, plaster, earth, mineral, mild coffee and a hint of sweet vanilla and chocolate. Good base malt, with a malty texture and high attenuation. The chewy texture, vanilla and fruity roast provide much more interest than your typical brown ale.
