Age is nothing but a number, except when it comes to our Saison beer, where age means more developed flavors. It’s a nod to a traditional Saison beer that would have been aged longer during the winter months. Fragrant, with tropical aromas of guava, it brings a taste of resin and kumquats. Try a glass, and you, too, will believe in this classic.

375 ml bottle with a date of 3-15-17. Nose is phenol Belgian yeast with a good amount of wheat. Pale malts, yeast, black pepper are the main players here. Light wheat with a bit of spicy peppery character in the finish. Fizzy, spritzy carbonation. Nice light tingle over the palate. Very nicely constructed.

GBBF Day 3. Bottle. Light haze on this pale gold beer, good white head. Palate is light and dry and has a fine crispness. Light dry malts, sweetish. Decent limey floral mid. Mild spice. Dry and slightly spicy finish. Tasty saison but quite dry.

Glowing golden orange with a firm white head. Aroma is lightly earthy, plenty of bright citrus notes, some spicy clove. Flavor is very full of that bright citrus, spice, lightly sweet fruit. Full of tiny bubble carbonation in the mouth. Lingering citrus bitterness. Pretty tasty saison.
