Sweetwater Blue is a unique lighter style ale enhanced with a hint of fresh blueberry. When you drink this beer take a good whiff first and you’ll smell the blueberry influence, but on the taste it’s extremely subtle and the finish is extra clean. Ain’t no fruit beer, but it is our breakfast beer, usually folks that are looking to quench their thirst or for those that are new to the “good beer” lifestyle; this is their choice. This brew and the ESB were the original two to go through the tanks at SweetWater in February 1997.

Pours amber with a frothy, big white head. Aroma of artificial blueberry notes, some grain. Taste has more blueberry, some grainy elements on the tongue. Grain, cracker-like, on the nose for the palate. Okay.

Fles 35,5cl thuis. 4,6%. Blauwe bes, licht tannine, wheat, vrij droog, fruitig, fris, licht weeïg, wat banaan, klein zuurtje. (6-5-2022).

On tap. Pours gold. Blueberry, sweet blueberry muffin, doughy, little sulfur, little sharp. Medium body. Fine.

Can.Hazy golden colour with small white head.Aroma of wheat and light blueberries juice,light bodied tast and mild note of hops,bit boring overall.

On tap at Central Jersey Beer Festival in West Windsor, New Jersey. Honey gold pour. Large frothy beige head. Fresh berry aroma. Some graininess as well. Fairly light on the palate. Notes of wheat malt, blueberries, cut grass and mild citrus.

Can. Golden color with medium white head. Aroma of citrus hops, caramel, light blueberry. Taste starts malty, wheat, berries, light citrus hops in finshi. Light medium bodied, refreshing beer.

Canned 355ml. -from BeerGeek Beershop Prague. Clear pale golden coloured, small to medium sized white head, pleasant blueberry nose. Sweetish malty, bready, noticable blueberries and mild fruity with bitterish finish.

Blaubeeren sind Programm, in Nase und Trunk direkt wahrzunehmen. Daneben überraschend crispy, leicht getreidig. Feines Ding! Schmeckt.
