Double Dry Hopped India Dark Ale… This dark india ale will come to exist and in time will rely heavily on oats, wheat dextrin and rye malt. Acute shockability will render high fruit injections of Citra, Simcoe and mosaic giving out fleshy, tropical freshness enclose in darkness.

Can from De Bierliefhebber. Aroma is fruity hops with citrus, dark malt, tropical fruits, grapefruit, dank Mosaic, and pine resin. Flavour is moderate sweet and medium bitter. Body is medium, pretty smooth. Very much on the IPA side of BIPA, hardly any roast and chocolate, but lots of fruity hops and pine. Tasty!

Can at home from Cotteridge Wines, in garden, 5th August 18. Pours black with a huge annoying head. Aroma is sweet, cocoa. Taste is smooth, sweet, mellow, light cocoa, needs more assertive hopping to be a great BIPA, but still good.

Can picked up from Cotteridge Wines, Cotteridge, Birmingham. consumed at Fire in the Mountain Festival, nr Aberystwyth, Wales, Saturday 2nd June 2018 Difficult to be exacting on colour owing to green plastic glass that is festooned with a Northern Rock Patrons Project label. Actually it's quite clearly dark brown verging on black with an off white head. Some pine resin, light roasty malts and a good thrust of grapefruit show here, plenty of hops here. Good on Wylam for doing this BIPA when others seem to have swiftly forgotten this style and jumped onto the next style bandwagon. I like it, very good beer. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov16 3.9
