Double Dry Hopped India Dark Ale… This dark india ale will come to exist and in time will rely heavily on oats, wheat dextrin and rye malt. Acute shockability will render high fruit injections of Citra, Simcoe and mosaic giving out fleshy, tropical freshness enclose in darkness.

440ml can from Ghost Whale. BBE 01.09.18. Pours deep dark brown, almost pitch black with a foamy white head. Aroma of rye bread, fruits, hints of roastiness, citrus, pine and grass. Taste is hoppy and slightly fruity with some rye, grass, earthiness, coffee, pine and citrus. Finish is juicy fruity, grassy and citrusy with some hints of rye, pine, grass and citrus. A bit confusing, quite fruity and floral black IPA with some rye notes but no roastiness. Pretty drinkable and tasty still.

Draft @ BrewDog Malmö. Pours a dark brown black color with a small off-white head. Has a slightly roasted malty piney hoppy caramel aroma. Slightly roasted malty hoppy bitter piney caramel flavor. Has a slightly roasted malty piney hoppy bitter caramel finish.

Can 440ml. @ home. [ As Wylam Futureshock ].Hazy dark brown colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark malt, moderate roasted, wheat - rye - oat, light heavy hoppy, pine, citrus, grapefruit, fruity hops, wood, citrus - grapefruit. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, dark malt, pine - fruity hops, citrus - grapefruit, sweet malt, moderate roasted, light wood, light oat - rye. Can from BrewDog Newcastle. Cloudy chocolate brown. Aroma chocolate and citrus. Taste is certainly more ipa than anything else. Full rich body. Nice.

Can from Cotteridge Wines; dark brown pour with a big light tan head, aroma has pine resin and chocolate, taste has charred malts, pine and chocolate.

Can from Wine Rack, Burpham. Resinous coffee edged aroma. Darkest brown. Frothy beige head. Medium bitter. Herbal. Spicy. Relatively light bodied and on the thin side. Fizzy carbonation. Dry finish. A real refresher. Could down it in one.

440ml can. Pours murky dark brown, small pale tan head. Aroma has pine, grapefruit, dark grain. Smooth and reasonably full on the palate with good hop jus, grapefruit, lime, exotics, resin with additional charred grain, coal dust, dark malt with some peppery herbal burps. Good smooth, layered, hoppy Black IPA / India Dark Ale, whatever it is.

Can split at 36 Levels lost, picked up somehwere on the interether, 28/03/18. Extremely dark mahogany brown bordering black with a decent beige cap. Nose is pine needle, charr, dusty hops, cocoa powder, red berry whisper. Taste comprises dark fruit shreds, mellow roast, bitter hop, cocoa dusting, pine needle. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close peppered with earthy hop bitterness. Solid well rounded CDA.
