The perfect blend of spice is found in Optimal Wit. This Belgian style witbier is crisp & citrusy with layers of flavor that evolve in the glass. It is brewed with Virginia wheat, Spanish orange peels & coriander. Grains of Paradise give a subtle, peppery finish. It tastes like Sunshine & Happiness!

From Beer Drop, canned February 11th 2026.
Pours a hazy yellow orange with a finger of foam, shrinks to a fine broken layer quickly, leaving spotty lacing.
Smell is coriander, spicy pepper, banana and cloves.
Taste is cloves, coriander, pepper, sweet, bananas, other spices. Tastes like a Wit.
Light bodied, this is good but I'm not in a hurry to drink this again.

Can from the lcbo slightly hazy pale yellow, with barley any head. Aroma is soft pale malted wheat, and some nice coriander. Nice mouthfeel solid carb. Finish is low on the bitterness scale, and a lovely blend of wheat and coriander and light citrus at the end. It looks terrible but turned out to taste very good.

Almost clear pale yellow colour, moderate sized dense ivory-like white head; aroma and taste of clove, some citrusy, banana and bready notes, maybe minimal coriander (but rather no coriander at all); well, it tastes and smells rathet like a german hefeweizen than a belgian witbier, but otherwise it is quite ok
