The natural haze in this unfined and unfiltered wheat beer derives from the addition of 150 kg of fresh rhubarb to the boil. The refreshing rhubarb flavour is complemented by notes of banana from the classic wheat beer yeast.

500ml bottle. Cloudy, orangey golden colour with average, frothy to macropore, diminishing, white head. Fruity and slightly wheaty aroma, tart-ish notes of rhubarb and sherbet. Taste is tart-sih wheaty and fruity, notes of rhubarb, subtle sweetness, bitter hints of orange zest and a peppery touch of coriander make for a tangy finish; slight overcarbonation reinforces the sherbet character. Refreshing and quite nice.

The great ChrisO pre GBBF gathering. Hazy gold beer, thin white head. Palate is light, dry and has decent fine carbonation. Light malts, a little thin sweetness. Tangy and bright dried fruits, touch of sherbet. Bright citrus before a semi dry finish. Nice! Not your normal crushingly dull wheat ale.
