On tap at Craft & Carry UWS, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma has toasted bready malts, toasted nuts, and a touch of roast. Flavour is very roasted, with lots of roasted malt, toasted nuts, and bready malt. Very roasted and deep for a dunkel. Very good.

Pour is a complete black with a large mocha tan head. Aroma is a nice combo of roasted malt and bitter chocolate. Flavor is a super bitter chocolate and roasted malt. Not a huge mouthfeel but the flavor is all there. Another flavorful beer from this brewer.

Pours dark mahogany tinged cola into an English pint. Tan head with good retention recedes to skim surface. Dark toasted pumpernickel, pit fruit and cocoa aromas. Soft with dark chocolate covered raisins, prune and toasted pumpernickel upfront turning to earthy bitter espresso in the dry, lasting finish.

Canned 10/18/23, drunk 11/23/23. Clear, dark. Lighter tan head steadily to spotty cover. Big mineral, chocolate, light caramel and a hint of roast. Clean, not heavy on the specialty malt. Soft, malty clean, light roast. Good attenuation and base malt, mixing with the tastefully done dark malt to give a caramel and light smoke/char. Big flavors for 4.5%.

On tap at Churchkey. Pours a dark brown with an earthy brown head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces. Aroma has a nice roast with some sweet dark grains and a hint of milk chocolate underlying. Flavor has bright chocolate and sweet dark grains with a hint of wheat and roast backing.
