Citrus IPA - This American style IPA has everything a juicy IPA should offer and more. A nice pale amber hue with lots of juicy fruit flavours from the likes of citra and summit hops. We use orange peel in the whirlpool to give this beer its distinctive orangey edge.

330ml can (BB May 2018) between five at the Chez Sophie monthly beer exchange group meeting on 20th June 2017. Label mentions Jane Weaver before ’Modern Kosmology’. Misty golden orange body, weak white head. Malty lead in the nose followed by citrusy and dank hops. Taste was the other way round, hops first, then after the citrusy flavour the beer calmed a little and the malts came out to play. Actually I didn’t really enjoy my sample.

330ml can. Hazy orangey amber colour, good sized white foam head leaving some lacing and aroma of zesty citrus. Taste is malt caramel, alittle biscuit, with juicy orange and citrusy hops. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry finish. Nicely drinkable.

Gravity dispense at the Fat Cat Brewery Tap, Norwich, 20/11/16. Golden amber with a decent off white covering. Nose is on the sweet side, orange peel, caramel, light malts. Taste comprises caramel malt, orange peel, straw, light bread, biscuit. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Ok sippable pale but lacks hop presence and any real dynamism ... not one I’d return to.

Cask at Craft Beer Co Holborn - London. Pours clear gold with a creamy, white head. Light doughy pale bread in the nose, nips of tangerine and orange. Medium sweet flavour with more simple, pale bready malts, low bitterness, a little hay, lemon meringue, tangerine rind. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with more doughy sugars, more meringue, restrained citrus character. Somewhat ho hum, I’d say.
