2021 bottle opened in 2024. Medium brown with yellow beige head. Funky yeast, malted grains, tart finish. I enjoyed it.

375mL bottled Jan 20, 2021, drunk 7/19/23. Gushing bottle, lightly. Dark, good clarity. Large, dark beige head, good retention. Hints of cacao, cocoa powder, gentle acidity (plentiful lactic, no acetic, low brett) with light base malts adding cracker and biscuit. Clean. Light brett, heavy, though not punchy lactic acidity. Easygoing on the dark malts adding a hint of cocoa. Nice and mellow stuff with a good maltiness and high attenuation. Easygoing and drinkable.

375 ml bottle from Halftime, 3/14/22. Dark brown, murky, lighter brown head. Fairly strong lacework. Roast, earth, and funk. Gets vinous and vinegary toward the close, but both remain subtle enough not to overpower. Drinks great. Really good stuff.

Draught at source: pours dark brown with a beige head. Aroma is hints of roast and chocolate along with spice and saison yeast. Roasty rustic taste along with a pleasant sweetness and traditional saison spice. Good.
