500mL bottle from Chalumeaux, March 2023 bottling, drunk 4/24/24. Clear, dark mahogany. Small, tan head sits at partial cover. Nose is spicy but not over-cinnamoned. Seems to be a decent balance of malt and acidity. Light coffee. No booze, low vanilla, low roast. Soft, malty, sweet but balanced, good attenuation. Wow, and here I thought this was going to be garbage because it wasnt barrel-aged. And yet, this is one of the best non-barrel-aged stouts I've had in a while. Excellent balance and integration of adjuncts. Rich and spicy, chocolatey. Not over-vanillad which is always nice. No booze. Love it. Such easy drinking.

Bottle (3/11/23) pour shared by AirForceHops--thanks, Chris! Opaque black with ring of head, nice viscosity, trace lacing. Aroma is strong roasted malt, cinnamon, coffee, chili, lighter vanilla. Taste mirrors aroma. Smooth, thick texture, nice chili heat, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Extremely well balanced. Delivers so many flavors and textures. Exceptional!

500 ml bottle from the brewery. Thanks TJ! Aroma is mild coffee with the cinnamon and roasted malts. The flavor has the entire gambit of adjuncts. The impressive thing is it is all balanced. Mouthfeel is great. The spice and cinnamon is here but doesn’t kill you.

Bottle. Pours inky black, Medium tan head decent lacing. Aroma is Mexican coffee lots of chili spice lots of cinnamon espresso Coco. Flavor is medium sweet to light plus bitter just a hint of pepper spice. Nearly full body. 5,8,8,4,16
