Bottle shared at Chris and Ruth Pre-GBBF 2017 tasting - London. Cheers! Pours mostly clear orange-gold with a bubbly white head. The nose holds dry pale bread, light crackers, melon, tangerine. Lightly sweet, notes of pale bread, light tangy citrus, low bitterness. Light bodied with average carbonation. Moderately sweet finish, faint cheese. So so.

Bottle 500ml. @ [ chriso & Boudicca's pre- GBBF Shindig 2017 ] - Chris and Ruth's House, London. [ As Deer Bear Laidback Pineapple ].Unclear medium amber yellow colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, pale malt, pineapple, pineapple lemonade, sweet malt. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, pineapple, lemonade, sweet malt, sugary. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20170805] 5-3-5-3-10

Bottle split at Chris & Ruths pre GBBF Shin Dig, cheers for all the shares, 05/08/17. Lightly hazed golden with a moderate off white covering. Nose is light citric pissoi, mellow on the turn pineapple chunks, damp straw. Taste comprises damp hay, mellow funk, over ripe pineapple, lemon rind, grains. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a modest puckering effect. Easy going mellow sour.

Bottle at C&R's Pre-GBBF tasting 2017. It pours lightly hazy yellow with a small white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, sugary and tangy fruits. The taste is crisp, tart, tangy pineapple, lemon - lime, sherbet and some candy. Light body and fine carbonation. Not a whole lot of depth to it, but it is rather drinkable stuff. Decent.

Barwa złota, zamglone, piana biała, umiarkowanie obfita, niezbyt trwała. W aromacie cytrusy i owoce tropikalne od chmielu, na drugim planie ananas. W smaku półwytrawne, kwaśność na poziomie średnim. Wyraźne nuty cytrusowe od chmielu, dużo ananasa, czuć też lekką naftę, po przełknięciu lekka metaliczność od Magnum. Spora gładkość, wysycenie w normie, ciało też, niezła pijalność. Niezłe, ananas na szczęście nie dominuje, piwo jest zbalansowane. Ciekawe, niczego nie urywa, ale jest to przyjemna opcja na lato.

The great pre GBBF bottleshare at ChrisO’s. Light haze on this gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is light, semi dry and has reasonable carbonation. Smooth light malts. Some tangy fruits, sour, little orange peel. Light finish. Ho hum!

Bottle shared at Chriso’s and Ruth pre GBBF shindig, August 5, 2017. Hazy orange. Nose not really pleasant, might have some fruits though. Taste is better, sourish, still that weird grainy thing there but acidic and fruity, not bad. Finish is sourish, grainy and lactic.
