Bottle from a Safeways in Portland. Aroma is juicy citrussy fruits with tropical notes, grapefruit, soft pale malt and orange peel. Flavour is light sweet with a bitter finish. Body is medium. Nicely balanced citrus IPA, delivers as promised.

Cask (gravity) @ GBBF 2016, [ Great British Beer Festival 2016 ], London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX. [ As Ninkasi Hop Cooler Citrus IPA ].Clear medium yellow orange colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, caramel, apple, toffee, citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, apple, caramel, toffee, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat. [20160809] 6-2-6-3-12

12 oz bottle. Golden color, mostly clear. Almost white head with good retention. Aroma's: light perfumey, actually more peach than citrus, a bit zesty, light citrus and resin. Retronasal it's fruity, sweetish, citrus zesty. Flavor is moderate bitter, moderate sweet. Medium bodied. Long finish, moderate bitter, slightly dry. Perhaps the bottle was not so fresh anymore (I couldn't find a date).

12oz bottle pours out golden topped with a white head. Nose is rich rye malts upfront citrus hops. Taste is more of the rich malts and and a orange citrus hop.

355ml bottle. Cloudy, orangey, dark golden to amber colour with average, thick, creamy, fairly lasting and lacing, off-white head. Condensed, citrusy hoppy aroma, notes of orange, tangerine, candied orange zest, a sugary touch, caramel malty background. Taste is dry, piney, citrusy, bitter hoppy, orange zest, increasing chalky bitterness pushes the fruitiness completely aside..

Bottle. Pours a dingy light tan. A bit of sediment from teh bottom of the bottle caused some of this im sure. Scant thin white head. Spotty lacing. Modest grassy slightly citrus hop flavors. Light malt profile. Other than the noticeable citrus fruit character, a rather pale middle of the road IPA

Cask at GBBF ’16, day one, 09/08/16. Clear golden orange with a decent off white head. Nose is jammy citrics, light bread, straw, apricot. Taste comprises mellow tropical fruits, mandarin, cantaloupe melon, citric kissed straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok IPA.

Cask at GBBF 2016. Day 1. Pours clear gold with a frothy, white head. Lightly dank, with notes of pale bread, alcohol, subtle pine, tropical fruits. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Resinous in the finish with a healthy dose of dankness. Good IPA.
