Looks great. Draft at Churchkey. Clear, dark garnet amber with a ring of white head. Lovely nose has everything happening. Malt and spice and dried fruit and some yeast. Flavors all follow. A little cake like black Forrest. Some booze. But the malt and spice really dance well. Finishes lightly boozy but basically dry. Crazy easy to drink and would put you down.

16 ounce can. Translucent amber brown color. Frothy tan head. Spotty lacing. Sweet toasted malt aroma has notes of dark fruits, caramel and vanilla. Rich and toasty upfront. Lots of toffee and dark fruits. Maybe some dark bread and toasted walnuts. Full bodied, with a dark, spicy finish.

Can (12/18/23) pour via trade with AirForceHops--thanks, Chris! Mostly clear (fine particulate mist), dark amber with nice sparkle, head with good retention and trace lacing. Aroma is dark fruit, spice, toffee, vanilla. Taste is strong toasted bread, caramel, earthy malt/dried leaves, late dark fruit. Smooth, frothy, silky texture, average carbonation and crisp finish as taste. Aroma is a bit more compelling that the taste but good all around.

16 oz. can. Aroma is English toffee, raisins, and bread. Flavor follows with a little bit of earthy notes and soft clove-like spice in the finish. Great malt body that is full and like baked bread. Very well rounded German bock.

Brewery draught, 1/19/24. Clear dark amber. Large, beige head, good retention. Roasted malts featuring coffee bean and hazelnut. Fair bit of acidity, light vanilla. Earthy. Clean. Soft and malty, good mix of specialty and base malt yielding honey, bread and fruity caramel. Medium-full, malty body with good attenuation. Clean and crisp.

Super excited I got to try this. Ruby mahogany pour. Nose is dried fruits and toasted malts. Tastes of caramel, plum, dark cherry, molasses, raisins, maybe cloves and anise. Light kick on palate.

Pours clear, bright mahogany into a stem glass. Mocha head with medium retention recedes leaving spot lacing. Dark caramel, raisin bread and molasses aromas. Soft with sweet molasses and creamy golden syrup upfront turning to fig and dried dark pit fruit before the lasting, earthy toasted spiced raisin brown bread finish.
