Pours a dark, cola black about the consistency of a cola, with smallish tan head. Aroma is coffee, chocolate, vanilla. Flavor follows, with some dark fruit in the mix, and a touch of leather. Thick mouthfeel. Some dark chocolate bitterness in the finish.

Winter 2024 can drunk 12/14/23. Very dark. Giant, ashen-rubbed-tan head, well-retained. Super fruity, plum, raisin, spice, prune, vanilla and milk chocolate. Big, intense, and propelled on by sugars from lactose and base malt. Soft, sweet, rich, velvety, lightly syrupy, but drying out with fruity, earthy coffee dryness and dark malts/unroasted barley. Does it dry out enough? Maybe? Probably? It's at least the least sweet of the shot series and the roast and coffee character is just killer, if you like fruity coffee.
