Can (9/11/24) from Andover Classic Wines. Opaque orange juice with tons of sparkle, full head with excellent retention and soapy lacing. Aroma is strong, lightly dank, musty grape, malt. Taste is strong musty grape, pineapple, hint of citrus, sweet malt backbone. Smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Really nice all around. One of the best beers with this hop combination.

Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 30/11/24. Hazed orange topped with a lasting faded egg shell white cap. Nose is grass, pineapple, melon, orange peel, grapefruit, airy malts. Taste comprises bitter orange, grapefruit, pine needle, melon, grass, lychee. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with juicy come resinous hop bitterness, Nelson subtle but noted, allied to a balanced boost. Tidy well balanced DIPA.

Can. Hazy orange gold beer, small and short lived pale cream colour head. Palate is light, mildly dry and has a good fine minerally crisp snap. Light but creamy sweet malts. Crisp cooling pine and upfront biting hop spice foreshadow some rather splendid hop fruits - rich ripe mango with an undertone of ripe citrus, a little guava in there. Back end brings ripe grape and a trace of aged white wine. More hop spice on the pretty light and crisp finish which also reveals a repressed hop skunk. Super!

16 oz can in a trade tfontana, ty Tom. Dated: 09/11/24. Aroma is pungent, peach, herb, and soft pineapple. The juicy hop presence in this is insane. The fruits are found throughout with a very mild herb in the finish that provides some balance. Although it’s not very bitter at all, the balance is still here. Alcohol totally covered. This is a insanely great IPA!

Brewery draught, 9/22/24. Heavily hazy, bright pineapple-maize. Small, white head quickly to ring. Mega tropical with big mango and juicy citrus. Deeper spice and mineral lingering with honey and white bread-like naked balancing gently. No booze or resin. Very juicy with the telltale fruit salad from the Motueka and the lingering tart pineapple. Less Nelson character, though there is deeper spice and mineral. Citra supports augmenting the pineapple and mango. Good depth and dryness. Clean and drinkable for its size.
