Burk. Fin mörk rödbrun färg. Stor sötma som för tankarna till karamell och torkad frukt. Viss pepprighet. Friskhet som för tankarna till citrongräs. Mjuk munkänsla.

Canned, from Systembolaget. Lightly hazy coppery brown, firm mid sized head. Generous aroma of marzipan, elderflowers, hay and bread. Mid sweet with above medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Marzipan and dates on caramelly bread. Mid bitter finish. Elegant and harmonious.

On tap at The Greats of Craft NYC, pours a clear dark chestnut amber brown with a small beige head. Aroma has a nice yeast profile, with toasted chestnuts, some red fruits, and very gentle esters. Flavour has light phenolic notes, with a nice Belgian yeast expression, burnt sugars, and red fruits. Finishes dry, bready and lightly fruity. One of the better North American attempts at the style. Good stuff.

Brewery draught, 9/19/24. Clear, cherry-amber. Small, off-white head, quickly to ring. Raid n, date, cherry, vanilla, fig, clove. All good things. Reasonable maltiness though a good deal of toast. Soft, toasty, but with great depth from base malt, thankfully. Low spice with raisin, plum, prune and honey. Balanced, mellow, flavorful.
