A Cream Porter... It’s taken us 16 years to get here but here we are... welcome to our 3000th brew! Brewed with lactose, pinhead oats and dark chocolate malt. Layers of subtle vanilla and milky coffee with a sweet dessert intensity.

330ml bottle. Darkest brown colour with small, creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Sweet-ish, chocolately, slightly roasty, dark malty aroma, hints of coffee, vanilla, sugared coffee. Taste is sweet-ish, chocolately and roasty dark malty, hints of lactose, coffee, sugared coffee, vanilla overtones. Slightly oily texture, smooth and soft palate, soft to flat carbonation.

Bottle 330ml. @ The Chris and Ruth's House, London. [ As Wylam #3000 Gyles From Home ].Clear dark brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, sweet malt, dark malt, oat, dark berries - black currant, light lacto - milk chocolate notes. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, dark malt, oat, berry, black currant, light chocolate - milk chocolate - dark chocolate. Bottle. Pours a black color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty caramel and chocolate aroma. Roasted malty caramel flavor with hints of chocolate. Has a roasted malty caramel and chocolate finish.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up at Kris Wines. Pours black-brown with a creamy, tan head. The nose has some milk chocolate, soft roast, dark berries. Medium sweet flavour with notes of raisins, background roast, sugary chocolate, low bitterness. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish with a touch of ashy roast, more milk chocolate, dried berries and raisins. Decent stuff.

330ml bottle. Pours black with a thin tan head dissipating quickly. Aroma: milk chocolate, vanilla, coffee, light roast. Taste: milk chocolate, vanilla, light roast, coffee, dark fruit, bittersweet. Medium body (good for the ABV), soft carbonation, creamy smooth mouthfeel. Nice enough.

33cl bottle at Chris & Ruth´s House. A dark brown beer with a small tan head. Aroma of medium sweet roasted dark malt, chocolate and caramel. Taste of caramelish malt, reddish fruits, toffee, some chocolate.

Bottle from Two Brews, Colchester. Pours hazy dark brown with a bubbly beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, molasses and dark fruit. Moderate sweetness and quite heavy roasted bitterness. Medium to full body and slick texture, carbonation is soft to flat. Finish is long roasted bitterness and alcoholic.
