Cask (Hope Tap JDW, Reading) - Dark brown with red tinges. Chocolate, almonds and some soapy notes in the aroma. Blackcurrant, coffee, roasted malt and soapy hops in the taste.Very nice but feel it is a bit on the hoppy side compared to most milds so it is not really to style.

Cask @ Grey Friar, Preston. Dark chestnut-red with a creamy head. Light tasting with an easy drinking texture, there’s some sweetened pale malts in its nose and some in its taste too. Has a light bitterness.
