After sitting in an Chardonnay barrel for 6 months, this Mead has developed phenomenally. Contrary to many meads, this one pulls in thick oak flavors with a sweet nose.

750mL bottle pour at the brewery, 7/12/24. Clear, still, light brass. Earthy, big minerality, light, seemingly well-attenuated honey. Clean, straightforward. Lighter-bodied, not thin. Some light, residual honey texture. Good acidity, earthiness and mineral. Quite dry. Clean and competent.
