Weizen Tripel.

Bottle from het Biermoment. Clear light amber color, medium rocky head. Aroma of grainy wheat, spicy yeast with clove and bit pepper. Spicy and dry in taste, quite malty for a tripel, which is the weizen part of course. I guess it is a full malt tripel with quite a portion of wheat. Full bodied, maybe even a bit too much, and I would prefer a bit more orange or citrussy fruitiness in it. Not bad though.

Bottle. Color: In between gold and amber, very thin white head. Taste: Medium sweet, yeasty, notes of wheat, herbs and lightly hints of banana. Some herbal bitterness at finish. Medium body, average carbonation. Just like the label states: In between weizen and tripel. Nothing wrong with that and OK beer, but nothing special going on. A bit dull.

Bottle @ home shared with Dutchdrebus and Ansjelaah. Murky yellowish, small to average sized off-white head. Smell and taste malts, wheat, lightly yeast, lightly herbal, herbal bitterness. Hmm weird and a bit hard to describe. Not my kind of beer anyway.

Bottle @ benzai. Hazy yellow to orange colour with a small white head. Smells sweet, malts. Tastes like a sweet and extra malty pilsener with a bit more body. Medium body, soft carbo.

Hazy pale amber colour, small frothy off-white head, mostly diminishing, minimal lacing. Aroma malts, grain, bread, orange peel, some ginger and cloves. Taste light heavy to medium sweet and medium bitter, malty, grainy, bread, spicy notes. Sweetbitter aftertaste, bit husky/strawish, medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Nice try but not entirely successful, okay.
