Poured into an SA perfect pint glass showing really dark opaque wood brown and about 3 fingers of slightly brownish but mostly white foam. The nose shows lots of fresh pine and tropical fruit hops with a subtle malt background. Very light bodied with medium carbonation. The bittering hops take front stage on this beer. Very subtle malt sweetness on the finish. The alcohol is also really apparent as it quickly burns upon the first sip. Bitterness takes too much of the front stage on this beer - barely perceivable hints of pineapple at the beginning but nothing else.
