Our new Porter is clean and crisp. A lighter shade of dark beer, low on bitterness, with smooth and subtle hints of chocolate. ABV may vary.

Cask at the Track Brewery taproom. Pours deep brown with a creamy khaki head. The nose holds mellow chocolate, burnt biscuits, earth and dried fruits. Medium sweet flavour, smooth and restrained, with more cocoa, raisins, leathery berries. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Smooth finish with very slightly tangy berries, some milk chocolate, raspberry, mellow earthy bitterness, faint caramel. Good stuff overall.

Very nice porter from gonzo beer. Dark almost black colour with a fan foamy head. Aroma us smoky, fruity and malts. The taste is smoky, but in a good way.

@Indyman - Black with thin head. Light roasted aroma. Very full flavoured with roast malt and coffee. Remains light enough to be an easy to drink session beer.

Bottle. Nose is fig, slight cherry, touch of smoke, sugar. Taste is dark fruit, leading to smoke, light wood, and a dry finish. Mouthfeel is on style. A nice, easy drinking porter.

Cask @ Port Street Beer House. A new brewery for me and a cool looking label / pump-clip. This is a nice enough porter, pours very dark brown with off-white head. A touch plummy with roasted malts and soft bitterness. Alright.
