Bomber shared by Marcus. Pours brown with a slight tan head. Aroma of dark fruit and dark malt. Not a very sweet aroma. Med + body. Flavor is dark fruit and dark malt. Maybe a hint of smoke and or coffee. Nice drink, but it might be fun as an imperial.

The beer is coffee black. Dark brown at the edges. Smallish tan head. Dissipates to a film of bubbles after a couple minutes. Some lacing. The aroma is cocoa powder, caramel/toffee and some dark fruity flavors. There’s a pleasant nutty character with mild spice. Roast is quite mild. The taste starts sweet with rich toffee-ish maltiness. Milder chocolate than in the aroma. More fruitiness - apples, grapes. The beer is nice and clean and stays well away from cloying territory. Mild roast acidity and a touch of hop bitterness in the finish cuts off the sugary flavors. Smooth and full. Lots of flavor for the abv with well-hidden booze. Very well made. Heater Allen is an excellent brewery.

Bomber from Belmont. Pours a deep brown color almost black with a small brown head. A sweet nose with toasted malts, caramel and some metal. The flavor is more sweet toffee, caramel, almost something akin to sweet candied fruit, dry toasted malts, chocolate. Pretty light but good.

22 oz. bottle, pours a red-tinged dark amber brown with a small beige head. Aroma of light caramel malts, toasted nuts, some dark fruits - very light notes. Flavour is a bit metallic, with light notes of dark fruits, toasted nuts and caramel. Very weak, with a thin palate. Uncomplex in all aspects. Drinkable, but nothing more.
