For the ninth anniversary of the American BeerBar BeerTemple (09/09/2018) in amsterdam, Timothy Wareman (Morebeer Brewing) and Robbert Uyleman (Uiltje Brewing) teamed up and made another anniversary beer for them! The Big Fat Anniversary is a 9,99& ABV Triple IPA brewed with lots of hops. The first sip of this beer will give you a hopsplosion of flavor! Keep this juicebomb refrigerated and drink as fresh as possible. Morebeer Brewing doesn’t have it’s own brewing facility, but dares other brewers to brew good beers together.

26-10-18 // bottle shared. Thanks to Benni! Obtained at BeerTemple Amsterdam. Hazy yellow. Pears. Sweetish body. Hop bitterness. Unusual but nice.

Tap at BeerTemple. Unclear golden with white head. Sweet malts, dank oniony and cheesy hops, resiny. Quite sweet and bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation.

Tasting glass @ Proeflokaal Arendsnest. Near clear orange, soapy white head. Nose is decent low milky, white grape & litchi hop. Taste is bit milky, touch yoghurt, white grape, litchi, basic, grape, nice old school, could be touch more fruitier even but still very nice hop juice, fruity, faintly milky,… Very neat.

On tap. Pours a clear amber with moderate head. Aromas of spicy tropical fruit, resin, passion fruit, and toasted malts. Flavors of candied fruit, nectarine skin, resin, white pepper, and dry malts. Good.

On tap at Arends Nest Amsterdam 2018. Clear gold colour lasting white head. candied tangerine flavour. leafy hoppy flavour. big leafy hoppy pink grapefruit pretty tasty.

On tap at Uiltje Taproom. Hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma is very hoppy, grassy, nettles, hint of pine, some citrus, light fruity. Flavour follows, juicy, grassy, nettles, pine, citrus, bitter finish. Medium to full bodied, extremely smooth and way too easy drinking.

Tap at BeerTemple, 12th September 18. Pours a clear straw beer, similar to the Big Fat 5. Can't believe it's 4 years on. Aroma is aromatic, citrus. Taste is smooth, aromatic hops, loads of citrus, pith, some tropical notes, bitter and well balanced, no sign of the 10%. Well done.
