750 ml. Bottle. It pours a clear, effervescent golden color with a white head. The aroma is a bit mild with some sweet red apple and hints of caramel. The flavor is similarly sweet with good apple flavor and just a hint of fruity tartness. No funk or farmhouse character sadly. Tastes pretty much like apple juice to me. I’d be disappointed, but this was dirt cheap at $6.50 a bottle.

Bottle from Berkeley Bowl West. Pours gold with a large foamy white head. Aroma is fruity apple. Fruit beyond apple. Hints of spice. Marvelous aroma. Med body, almost. Flavor is ages appleskin, with lightly spicey notes. Finishes towards dry with a little spicy sugar. Delicate. Tasty. Stands up to Normandy ciders.

Best Before 03.2013. Pours with a pretty deeply golden hued body (crystal clear) with a moderate white head that fizzes away. About as deep in hue as I’d possibly want my maltiest West Coast IPAs to get. Aromas are of apple, lightly funky, clove phenolics, a touch of sulfur, brett, slightly chlorophenolic: Normandy Cider bandaid character (light). Mild sweetness, light acid. Flavors are really pretty sweet, with a chlorophenolic smokey and band aid finish. Lightly bacony and residual sweetness in the finish. Very sugary upfront, medium apple character, light sulfur. Honestly it is missing complexity. Medium bodied, slightly sticky with lively carbonation. Forced Carbed bottle. Not my thing as far as ciders go.

Pleasing mild cider. Highly effervescent, bubbles rising, fizzy palate, even produces a head that lasts a hot minute. Clean apples in the nose, flavor is like fresh pressed cider with an alcoholic kick at the end. Very dry with a moderate tartness.
