Hierdie is 'n uralt. The aroma is a bit unusual for a uralt or dampfbier because of the kolsch yeast. But the malt forwardness and strength makes this a very good uralt,

Med brown, thin head, sweetish nose, vague amber/chewy malts, touch of alcohol, moderately sweet, basically a generic strong ale that lacks distinctiveness, and certainly I wouldn’t know it to be a sticke.

Tap at the 2014 OBF. Pours dark brown with a beige head. Deep dark hop aroma with hops. Med + body. Flavor is very malty with something like herb/hallertau hop. Tasty. Finishes not too sweet, yet malty. Nice.
