This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a hazy yellow to orange color with a one and a half finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a good two minutes. Damn, I like how this one really lingered and once the head did die, the lacing was sporadic but still in a decent spider web fashion.
The smell starts off with a bitter and spicy hop aroma leading towards a decent \"onion/garlic\" aroma. I mean its nothing bad because I absolutely love onion and garlic.
The taste was bitter with a decent amount of the hops showing the onion flavoring.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a somewhat decent sessionability about it. The carbonation is there for an AIPA and decent to me.
Overall, honestly, I don’t think I’d be able to distinguish between this and Trilogy 2, Aussie Salute. Sorry but at least at the moment, I don’t see the difference, still worthy of having again.

Bottle from QClub at home. Hazy amber pour with thick dense fine head. Aroma is yeasty like a slightly citrus pilsner. Taste is similar - a bit flat at first with pronounced sharp bitterness. Palate is smooth and frothy - not bad. Very bitter finish. Not bad but nothing special.

Bomber from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours rather orange with a slight white head. Lots and lots of citrus - . For aroma. Med body or better. Flavor is nice caramel and lots and lots of citrus. Light hop burn that burns brighter with time. This is yummy. Finishes pretty dry, pretty hoppy and pretty bitter.

12 oz bottle, thanks to Justin at Capones Hayden. Aroma is pretty vague, but there’s a little dough, vegetal notes, wet river rock. Pours hazy orange with a two finger off-white head with good retention, leaving some lace. Taste is bittersweet with a lingering bitter finish. Not getting much citrus or tropical notes at all. Seems like the hops are here for bitterness and that’s about it. Highly carbonated, medium body. Simple ale that could have been so much better. Still it’s not all that bad, just very ordinary.
