[2/12/15] Draught at The Good Hop in Oakland. Clear golden. Aroma of “green” hops and marmalade. Flavor has some malt sweetness, “green” zesty hops and some bitterness. Medium-bodied. Interesting.

Draft. Orange-amber beer with a cream head. Summer fruit and grapefruit aroma. Grapefruit and summer fruit flavor with light pine and light sweet malt backing. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Grapefruit and summer fruit lingers with light pine and light sweet malt.

On tap at Gourmet Haus. Citrus, pine and slight earth aroma. Clear deep orange with full white head and webbing. Flavor is moderate grapefruit and slight pine with overt malt (biscuit and dough). Moderate high bitterness and semi-dry finish.

Tap at The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours hazy gold with an off-white head. Aroma of light stone fruit and caramel. Full body or nearly. Flavor is quite malty, but there is so much hop that’s not an issue. Finishes caramel and fruit. Lots of Hop. Fairly bitter finish. Extremely tasty.

Slightly hazy orange with a medium sized off-white head and some lacing. Aroma of citrus and pine. Flavors of tropical fruits, citrus and fresh hops

Sample at SF Beer Week Opening Gala 2014. (my first one from this brewery) Hazy orange with a medium white head. Very fresh and hoppy with citrus, pineapple, hay and mango. Tasty and a nice beer to enjoy.

Taster@Faction. Pours clear amber with a small off-white head that dissipates quickly with good residual lacing. Aroma is fairly light, but hits all the high notes with citrus, dankness, pine, forest floor and a healthy dose of pot. Light plus sweet with some malt backbone shining through, quite bitter, spruce and a bit of mango, wet leaves and pot still apparent. Full body, super creamy in the mouth. Low carbonation, which somehow does not detract from this gem.
