[33cl can from Beer52.] An opaque mahogany pour with a loose beige head; malty aroma with a little smoke; deeply charred chocolate malt taste; then some bitter roast coffee to follow, and a gentle warmth in the chest. Beautiful.

8/8/2025. Keg at GBBF 2025. Very good pour. Roasted, ashy, dried and dark fruits, coffee, toffee, treacle aroma. Quite sweet but balanced well with a good roasted bitterness. Good body, smooth, average carbonation. Very good.

On tap at Fuggles Cafe Tonbridge. Black beer lasting tan head. Chocolate dark aroma. Some molasses aroma. It's got some dark chocolate some molasses some dark fruits. So.e sourness towards the end. Decent strong stout. All makes sense in the mouth. A juicy molasses dark fruits beer. OK.
