Cans from Tesco. Murky golden body with a white head. No visible carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of dried mango, peach and lemon sponge. Flavour of bay leaf, orange and dried mango. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. It’s a decent IPA with a definite bay leaf vibe.

Can at home picked up from Tesco Watford. A hazed brushed gold coloured pour with a lively rocky white head. Aroma is floury wheat, floral citrus, zesty orange, tangy tangerine. Flavour is composed of semi sweet loose wheat, floury grains, mixed citrus with orange and pineapple, spicy notes. Firm grassy bitterness in the finish. Palate is semi sweet, rounded, moderate carbonation. Not bad hazy.

Can at home, thanks to a Sharon pick up from Tesco Amersham, 08/06/2025.
Hazed orange with a lasting off white cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is orange zest, grass, melon, pineapple.
Taste comprises grapefruit, tangerine, grass, papaya.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with juicy hop bitterness.
Not bad for a supermarche affair!

Can. Hazy orange gold beer, decent bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy smooth palate, decent fine minerally carbonation. Soft malts, some grain but, a decent creamy sweetness. Soft cooling pine. Alright Nectaron stone fruits, soft and slightly ripe. Okay brew, a bit tired perhaps.

Murky pour and plenty of skunky hops on the nose. This one is all about loads of rich hops on the palate and the texture is gorgeously oily.

440ml Can from Tesco's in Gerrards Cross, Bucks. A hazy golden/orange coloured pour with a healthy white head on top. Hoppy, citrus, orange, grapefruit, tropical fruit taste, aroma similar. Quite a decent effort.

Today's deadication beer goes to a legend I actually got to meet shortly before his death - Welsh football great John Charles, who died on this day 21 years ago. A hazy pineapple heavy taste with a more general citrus nose, this hides its strength well, but the strength gives it a full body.
