For me this beer was a good surprise, an ipa/bitter on the English way, really smooth and malty, not the sensation that the alcohol is strong, bitter, floral and citrus, bread with a note of apricot, 23.10.20, finding this beer at the Karstadt, Freiburg am Breisgau, drinking it at Epalinges.

Bottle. Color: Hazy deep golden, white head. Aroma: Floral hop. Taste: Malty base, floral hop, bread notes, Hints of citrus fruit, mainly at the finish. Medium body, average carbonation. Moderate sweet, light to moderate bitterness. Drinkable.

0.75 l bottle shared with friends. Deep golden colour with thin white head. Very well balanced sweet-bitter notes both in aroma and taste (hops, malts, biscuits and honey). Short sweet finish, light body, soft carbonation.

Bottle picked up from Globus, Plattling and consumed the same day Thursday 13th March 2025 listening to Huw Stephens on 6Music and Round Table we had a Chicken Bhuna from the Curry Guy book. Pours mid amber with a white head that rapidly departed. Soft mouthfeel, warming, it's a bit nutty, a bit sweet and struggling to hit the heights of the previous beers. Fine.

Aroma of malts, hay, straw, fruits, caramel, some aromatic hops. Flavour is disappointingly sweet, malty, with a decent bitterness in the aftertaste. Too sweet for my taste I’m afraid, and I like a more pronounced hoppy aroma. Not terrible, but a bit of a disappointment.

Bottiglia. Il naso riceve informazioni di fruttato. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera normale, permanendo in maniera sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma ha una buona tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido è di consistenza limpida. Bollicine medio-fini costituiscono la forma del perlage, con carbonazione persistente. Il colore è ambrato. Il corpo è pieno. L'amaro è pronunciato. La forza gustativa è elevata e si prolunga in modo sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. Al palato arrivano sentori di miele, crosta di panettone, frutta secca, un accenno di resinoso, agrumi, arancia amara, cannella, scamorza affumicata ed erbe aromatiche.

Fles gedeeld door Roelzie geprobeerd met TomvV. Het is een helder goudgeel bier met een volle witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een aroma van hop. De smaak is vol hoppig en bitter.
